Ready for Brad's pool party to begin
the birthday boy!!

We had so much fun celebrating our sweet boy and the joy of turning 8! The celebration began with a boy's night to the Gwinnett Braves game. Brad and Trent were so excited to be able to watch some minor league baseball. They also got to get a souvenir (hat for Brad and bat for Trent), which was almost as cool as watching the game. Then, as is our tradition, we met daddy for lunch on Brad's actual birthday. Bradley chose where to eat, and a yummy new pizza place named Luigi's is our current fave! Bradley had muffins for his birthday breakfast and then bacon and sausage balls for dinner. His favorite was opening all his presents (which somehow got deleted from my camera!!!!) :(  and his genuinely excited and appreciative reaction to each gift. This boy loves to get presents!!!! Rach and Trent picked him out a skylander and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask with nun chuks. Bradley had a pool party on the weekend following his birthday and a few of his friends from Learning Grove came to celebrate. Bradley had a great time swimming with his buddies and they also bought him such thoughtful presents (knowing how much they discuss their likes and dislikes when they're together at school). Brad's aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and parents also gave him some awesome things that he has thoroughly enjoyed playing with! One of his favorite things to entertain/annoy us with is a musical card from Aunt Linda and Uncle Paul...he has played that dang thing repeatedly and  he loves it! He also loved getting cash from Gege, and gift cards from Nana and Aunt Linda. Bradley loves to shop for toys almost as much as he loves opening presents. We've been to Toys R Us twice and B&N once (with the anticipation of going back soon since we have money left on the card).

We are so thankful for our precious son, his love of celebrations, his joy for life, his thoughtful way of planning things and the gratitude he shows when he is celebrated. Happy 8th birthday sweet son!
