5 months? Whoops!

It's been a few months since I last posted. I guess life has been busy, and I haven't been documenting. But, things have been great and we are all very healthy and happy!! So, I'll attempt to catch up the latest Milligan Family news...

This precious boy finished Kindergarten! He had a fantastic year and learned a lot with his friends at Learning Grove. These pics are from the Tour de France that they participated in from March. All the kindergarteners brought their bikes to school and they raced around the church 3 times in 3 different heats. Trent was a beast and came in 1st place the first time. In the second and third race, he came in 2nd place to the girl in the top picture on the HUGE bike! (We questioned the race sponsors as to whether or not her bike met regulations.) ;) haha!
Actually, we were more impressed that Trent beat the girl since her bike wheels were so much bigger than his. Our boy is strong and determined!
Now...On to 1st grade!!!

Random Cute kid pics

The weather has been extremes lately...freezing cold to mild and warm. We can't seem to get enough fresh air and sunshine on the rare days when we see both. These are the sweet faces of kids outside, enjoying the day...till the next monsoon hits! :)

the prettiest sister on the team! (and most teams)...

Rach requested a shirt this year, too. :)

this kid is ready!!

look at that form! What a ball player!! :)

Baseball season is off to an awesome start! Trent is #5 on the Dodgers. He is so excited to be playing again and loves that this year they keep score and you can slide home! The Dodgers lost their first game 4-2, but Trent was 3 for 4 with 3 awesome hits!! We can't wait to see how the Dodgers learn and grow this year!

**Brad is not in any pictures because he chose not to be in them. **

Happy New Year!!! 2015

Our yummy sparkling cider

Celebrating New Year's with a kiss!!!

the happy kiddos--fine with hugging, but NO kissing!!!

Cheers!! (Promise it's cider, even though the kids look a little funny!)

This New Year's Eve, we went to see an adorable movie: Big Hero 6, which we was SUPER funny!! We laughed and laughed thru this one! Then, we came home and watched some tv and got more and more sleepy! So, at 10:30 pm, we rang in the new year! We drank some yummy sparkling cider and shared some hopes and dreams for the upcoming year. We hugged and some of us kissed, and then we went to bed! Happy New Year!! Love to all!

Merry Christmas~ 2014 (with Gege and Papa)

G&P with their grandbabies

pretty girl with a pretty package!

handsome boy--anxious to open up a present!

mr. cutie--happy to have more legos!

The second half of Christmas Eve is spent at Gege and Papa's house. It is always fun and full of yummy food (this year super delicious beef tenderloin!!) and lots and lots of presents! With only 3 kids on this side, it is so much quieter and a nice way to end our day. The kids are literally showered with presents and stockings stuffed to the brim. And they get awesome presents from their Uncle Stacy and Randy also. Us big kids are also spoiled with huge stockings full of gadgets, pens, lotions and other goodies and some spending money too! We are so thankful for Gege and Papa and for their fun, relaxing Christmas Eve each year.

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve at Nana and Pop's house is always lots of fun!! There is always an abundance of yummy food and lots of friends to play with! With 9 kiddos, it gets a little loud, but the energy and excitement is pretty awesome! The kids have so much fun playing with their cousins and opening presents together. Nana always painstakingly chooses the perfect presents for each kid and they love it! Us big kids are also treated extra special with stockings full of goodies and money to spend anyway we choose. Thanks Nana and Pop for spoiling us all and for always making Christmas a family-filled fun day!!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas~ 2014 (with the Lanes)

the cute boys

the pretty girls

This is our second annual sister brunch in December, when Wendy and I get our families together to eat some good food! And, the kids go ahead and exchange presents with each other. It was lots of fun watching these kiddos excitedly watch their cousins unwrap specially chosen presents. Then, there was lots of yummy foods and lots of playing!
Merry Christmas!!
