Show-n-Tell

Rach shows off her special BF necklace from Juj
Bradley shows us a Lego Chima figure

Trent shows us a Lego vehicle that Brad built for him

We have started doing show-n-tell this year for the benefit of Trent, our sweet Pre-K child. Rachel and Bradley got to experience this when they went to Pre-K at our church and we wanted Trent to enjoy the same fun! (Rachel's idea!) So, every day, all 3 kids pick out something that they want to share and they tell a little bit about it. Obviously, we've all seen each other's toys, but it's still neat to have them explain why they like it, play with it, why it's special, etc... Trent really loves showing off his stuff, of course. I'm even bringing something to show and telling the kids about a memory from childhood (my album full of polaroid camera pics and my awesome photography skills) or mine and Nick's HS class rings...so they know how neat it is to get a class ring when they graduate from HS and/or college. Anyway, school is still going really well, even though we have had some bad attitudes that have needed re-adjusting. Hooray for Pre-K and all the fun that it brings to our day!!

Flag Football!

Bradley- Center (?)
Running some drills

Bradley started flag football this week and he LOVES it! He's wanted to play for over a year and he's finally able to. He did a great job at his first 2 practices and is such a fast runner! It'll take a little while to learn all the rules of football, though. It sure is fun watching our cute 7 year old out there having fun and learning a new sport! Gooooo Cowboys!!!

1st Day of Homeschool, 2013

Today was our first day of homeschool and IT WAS GREAT!!

Trent learned all about the letter "T"

Rach is such an independent worker

Brad works hard drawing a picture to go along with his sentence.

We started school this past week. We kinda had school fever after seeing all of our friends start back, so we started back too. At first, Trent did NOT want to do school. He said he hates school and didn't want to do anything. But, once we got into our "school room" he was fine and he LOVED learning! He did a great job too! Brad and Rach have both had a great first week and have worked very hard at whatever task I have given them. I know that every day won't go perfectly, but it was a nice beginning to our 5th year of homeschooling! Happy Homeschooling!

We had a great 4-day celebration in honor of our sweet son, Bradley. We started with a sleepover with Thomas and a trip to the movies to see the movie, Turbo. Then, we had a family celebration on Sunday with grandparents with lots of fun presents and yummy ice cream cake. Monday, Brad's actual birthday, started with birthday muffins, presents from Rach and Trent, a special trip to daddy's work for lunch and then a yummy supper of pigs n blankets and presents from mommy and daddy. We had fun celebrating our precious boy and are so thankful for him! We love you precious Bradley!
