On the day after Easter, (thankfully, since we got awesome, injury-free pictures) Bradley had a freak accident in our kitchen and broke his nose. He had on some traction-less slippers that he always found really fun to "ski" with on our wooden floors. Unfortunately, he was running thru the hallway and somehow fell completely face first, flat on the floor. He had on his glasses and they were shoved way up on the bridge of his nose. Poor Bradley was in some serious pain. I was very concerned (as were Rach and Trent) and didn't really know what to do. We held a wet washcloth with some ice on it while we called daddy to see what he thought we should do. We ended up having Brad checked out at the pediatrician, who basically did nothing. They said to keep ice on it for several days. They also recommended us seeing a plastic surgeon, but we decided to wait a week and follow up with an ENT. Chalk it up to youthfulness, divine healing, or all of the above, but our boy's nose looked 1 million times better within 1 week. The ENT felt, pushed on, squeezed, etc... Brad's nose and thought it had healed beautifully. We are so thankful that Brad wasn't more seriously injured and that his handsome face still has that gorgeous, straight nose!!
